PHP 7.4 / 7 is now End of Life

Release branches of PHP receive full support for 2 years from their initial stable releases, during which time reported bugs and security issues are fixed and are released in regular updates/minor releases. Once this 2 year support period ends each branch continues to be supported for an additional year to deal with security concerns on an as-needed basis. However, packages in various O/S flavors (Debian and Ubuntu, for example)  will still continue to be supported for some time, and many software installations still rely on older versions of PHP. In this thread it's mentioned that 56.9% of all WordPress installations use PHP 7.4 - PHP 8.x adoption among WordPress users has been pretty poor, possibly due in part to the number of plugins that need updating by thousands of authors, some of whom are more active than others. So how does the passing of PHP 7.4 affect you? Is it cause for immediate concern, or can you relax for some time yet? Share your thoughts in the thread.

Monitoring outgoing traffic cPanel/WHM

Mark is looking for a server side software to organize and help him understand the outgoing traffic on his server, specifically something that provides traffic information for IPs, ports, etc. He'd like the ability to identify outgoing requests for remote hosts, TCP, HTTP etc. so that he can see volumes for these and other connections on the server. Solutions will vary depending on whether he simply needs to collect traffic/volume stats or actually sniff the data. Do you scrutinize such traffic on your server(s)? What would you recommend to Mark?
